What is a Bustier?  

A corset-style garment that combines a bra and a waist-cincher, and designed with a longline band that extends down the torso along with supportive cups that “boost” the breasts. Additional features may include trimmings of lavish lace, flexible side boning, detachable garters, optional shoulder straps, or a lace-up closure. A bustier is considered very flattering to the figure as it combines support with a shapely silhouette. Bustiers are similar to corsets, but their focus is on lifting the bustline.
